Piano Lessons
All Students can be talent educated. Students are taught how to read notes, count accurate rhythm using a metronome and how to express themselves musically by employing varying techniques that enables them to play very loud and very soft. All genres of music are taught.
Pre-Kindergarten students have their own special program for learning how to make music and learn to play the piano. The Suzuki Method of learning to " play by ear" is taught to children ages five to eight years old. This method helps the very young child how to sound out notes on the piano and how to aurally thread the pitches together to produce songs such as "Mary Had A Little Lamb", "Go Tell Aunt Rhody", and eventually at a much more advanced level, Beethoven Sonatas.

Technology for Learning
Students work on music theory not only at the keyboard but also with the use of electronic technology. The Studio uses many electronic games to teach rhythm, note naming and general music terminology such as "Flash Note Derby",
"Rhythm Cat", "Rhythm Cat Advanced", "Treble Cat", "Bass Cat". In addition video games for early elementary students as well as advancing learners, are used to teach basic piano elements in a fun way.

Performing
Four piano recitals as well as competitions and National Guild of Piano Teachers Test teaches students self confidence and builds character. The majority of Talley piano students entered in competition usually win a place with some of them garnering the coveted first place prize.
